New Business / Key Account Manager (DUR)
Job Description
We are looking for a Hunter - someone seeking new business and who has experience in Key Account Management. A person who can:- Identify new high net worth customers by looking for opportunities not only for the division but the entire Thompsons Group.
- Find and develop new customers
- Global partner implementation
- Cold Calling
- Compile Tender documents of existing and potential customer needs
- Compile Tender documents and processes for New Business acquisition
- Achieve Targets Set
- Organization of workshops, site inspections & product knowledge sessions
- Assisting in marketing awareness campaigns
- Monthly reports and quarterly reports on targets set
- Reports on new business acquisition
Minimum Requirements
- EE
- 3+ years previous Key Account Management experience in a corporate retail travel environment
- Travel and Tourism qualification
- Sales and Marketing qualification
- Computer literate in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent geographic knowledge
- Experience in working in a target driven environment and achieving personal sales
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Proactive, problem solver and innovator
- Strong sales background
- Ability to analyse corporate accounts and present reports
- Understanding of basic accounting principals
- Must be a team player
- Must have a driver’s licences and able to work outside normal working hours
