Project Manager - Thompsons Meetings & Incentives (JNB)

Job Objective

By providing world class service to the customer to achieve personal and company sales targets, in line with the company strategy and departmental and regional goals.  Organizing of events, conferences, corporate breakaways, incentives and launches for existing and prospective accounts.  To fulfil group requirements for clients professionally and profitably.

Key Performance Areas

  • Achieving company required sales targets
  • Handling all administration, execute own events and reconciling accounts
  • Achieving client satisfaction and understanding their requirements
  • Maintain high levels of quality and productivity by managing workload and meeting deadlines
  • Offer world class service and develop a culture and strive to exceed expectations and offer a “wow” service to our customers

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 / 4 years Event Co-ordination or Groups experience
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, good geographical knowledge and interpersonal skills, as well as being able to cope under pressure
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal working hours
  • Ability to travel away from home
  • MS Office literacy essential
  • Presentation skills
  • Remuneration dependent on experience.
