Senior Corporate Consultant (DUR)

Job Objective

To provide seamless world-class service to the customer in order to achieve personal and company sales targets, in line with the company strategy and departmental and regional goals.  The objective is to convert as many corporate travel enquiries as possible into profitable booking.

Key Performance Areas

  • To provide accurate, fair value travel services as well as expert advice to customers
  • To understand air fares and land products as well as a sound geographical knowledge and also know the latest tactical and trends in the marketplace
  • Teamwork is critical

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years in corporate travel environment
  • Travel or Tourism Certificate
  • Amadeus GDS and Quicktrav experience required
  • Working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office Applications - Outlook, Office
  • Able to meet sales targets and perform under pressure
  • Proven sales record
  • Extensive global product and geographical travel knowledge
  • Practical working experience with Amadeus and fares and ticketing experience
  • High accuracy and concentration, focusing on detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time and to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Results orientated
  • Strong organisational abilities
  • Must be a team player
